Job Description
* March start date * Ongoing contract role * Outstanding civil contractor Over the past decade our client has built a peerless reputation as being one of the leading Civil Contractors working on high profile mining expansion/construction projects. They have provided a high level of service building roads, rail and port facilities servicing some of the state‘s most prolific projects. As a result of recent growth they have an immediate requirement for an experienced Project Manager - Civils to take charge of a USD 8m project based from their head office in WA‘s Midwest. Ideally you will possess over 3 years experience at a Project Management level working on similar sized projects. In addition to this, you will be a degree qualified CIvil Engineer or have extensive and related trades experience. This role will see you visit site on an intermittent basis and carry out the following roles and responsibilities from their head office: - Provide technical support to the Project Superintendent; - Ensure construction crews on site are adhering to the construction schedule; - Manage complex contract variations, in liaison with the client and contract‘s manager; - Manage supply of material issues to site. Ideally, you will currently reside in the region or be looking to move there in the very near future.
