For our Business Unit Bogies, we are currently looking to recruit a: Innovation Project Manager (m/f) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and CHALLENGES: The Innovation Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of the innovation activities within our Bogies organization The task is to develop and manage a research and development project execution plan for the innovation of ideas, taking into account budget, resources, timings, project gate reviews A key responsibility will be to identify the ideas worth pursuing and to develop for those the relevant business cases The challenge is to functionally manage, support and lead the work of several small teams of creative engineers on 4 different Bombardier Transportation engineering sites to develop their ideas into marketable and competitive products Mobility and flexibility to travel between the sites will be required as well as communication with other departments which contribute to the development and marketing of new products The responsibility is to pursue potential synergies, either within Bombardier Transportation or universities to be informed about new technologies and to ensure that any Bombardier Transportation invention is genuine and does not conflict with existing laws or patents The Innovation Project Manager reports progress, opportunities and risks to senior management on regular basis Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE Master of Business and Engineering (with strong mechanical engineering background) Your expertise is preferably within railway business, automotive, or similar industries Your are experienced in project management and innovation processes Fluent English mandatory - Fluent German and/or French desirable Ability to coordinate team and individual activities as well as creative and dynamic team spirit Flexibility to travel across the Bogies engineering sites: Siegen, Derby, Crespin, Winterthur Do you recognize yourself in this description?
