About the role (External) A Performance Test Analyst is required to Develop and execute performance test scripts via the use of automated test tools in accordance with Information Management (IM) Test Standards. Key Accountabilities 1. Undertake performance and load testing for each of the identified test stages applicable to the software solution being implemented using appropriate automated tools to develop, execute, record and report test results. Document any technical and application specific knowledge during the test lifecycle. 2. Provide timely feedback to developers, managers and other relevant groups concerning issues identified during testing. 3. Prepare automated regression test packs. 4. Coordinate third party input into testing lifecycles where required. 5. Assist in configuring and managing the test environments and the preparation of appropriate test data for all identified test stages. Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications Essential • Demonstrable software performance testing experience • Working knowledge of Mercurys (HP) LoadRunner and WinRunner and IBM Rational Robot. • Demonstrable knowledge of a range of testing techniques and strategies • Ability to produce professional and well-structured test specifications Desirable • ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing • Technical exposure to Unix/Wintel/Oracle products • Knowledge of the railway industry
