We are looking for a Project Engineer for our Pittsburgh (PA) facility.



Within our Propulsion and Control Group, you will lead project engineering activities for a single project with focus in its specific scope as determined by our client.



In your role as a Project Engineer, you will:



Lead all aspects of design, implementation, testing and commissioning required to deliver the scope of the engineering project to satisfy customer requirements while adhering to project budgets and schedules;
Establish and manage schedules, plans and budgets consistent with the proposed project financial goals for project management, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, shipment, collections, billings, testing, commissioning, training, warranty, documentation, subcontracts and purchases and all other project engineering related activities;
Develop and implement plans to improve project results beyond established budgets and financial targets. Utilize clear metrics and measures for all team members to monitor and understand status on critical tasks and objectives;
Monitor, control and report monthly financial aspects of the project consistent with the contract requirements and established project management procedures to attain established goals;
Establish and maintain customer interfaces to promote, monitor and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. To the fullest extent possible, anticipate and satisfy the customers needs, while operating within established policies, procedures and commercial guidelines.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, you possess:



Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering;
Minimum 2 years of project management experience;
2 to 5 years of experience leading technical projects;
5 years of engineering experience with propulsion systems or subsystems;
Experience within the rail, mining or textile industries (asset).
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
