We are looking for a Project Leader, Train Control Management System (TCMS) for our St-Bruno (QC) facility.



Under the Group Managers supervision, you will be responsible for the planning, follow-up, monitoring and coordination of one or multiple projects. From the Group Manager you will receive the mandate, the budget and the resources that will enable him to deliver the project and to meet departmental and corporate objectives. You will also be responsible for the coordination of the project management team and the other departments involved.



In your role as a Project Leader TCMS, you will:



Define the directions of the project to strike a balance between duration, budget, scope and quality;
Be responsible for the budget and for delivering the project according to established criteria (requirements, dates, budget and quality);
Manage the project in accordance with best project management practices and the standard processes of the TCMS Group;
Be responsible for establishing, following up on and consolidating the deadlines for project activities. Identify human and material resource requirements;
Be responsible for start-up documents and project plans;
Attend work sessions with the project management team and the customer;
Follow up and coordinate change requests and approvals with the project management team;
Prepare progress and project performance reports and present the project reports;
Write proposals and statements of work in order to pursue business opportunities identified by the organization.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, you possess:



A Bachelors of Engineering degree or equivalent;
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering;
Experience in project management, planning and follow-up;
Experience in cost control, accounting and budget tracking;
Excellent English and French communication skills (written and spoken).
