Our client is a major player across a number of construction industries. With a new General Manager in place within their rail division, ambitions are high, and are looking to continue their progress in 2012 off the back of a very successful 2011 across the national business.

Due to the award of a USD 30m track and civil rail project they require an experienced Track Project Manager to join their business. They are also due to land another similar project almost double in size. All candidates must be willing to relocate.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rail, specifically track related projects.

You will be a degree qualified engineer and can demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the rail industry in Australia and will use this experience to bring projects to completion successfully.

Your knowledge extends to track possessions and track occupancy planning familiar with OHS.

Your duties will be varied but essentially, you will be responsible for the delivery of these projects devised to improve the transportation of rail across the state. Project sizes range from USD 1M to USD 100M and you will be financially responsible for these budgets.

As Project Manager, you will be expected to liaise with a large number of internal and external stakeholders including engineers, supervisors, planners and potential alliance partners. To this end, your communication skills will be advanced. You are able to motivate your team to a common goal and are passionate about achieving success.
