Job Description
Department & how it relates to the role Using your demonstrable experience, you will lead a team of engineers and external consultants in the detailed development of multi-disciplinary schemes to achieve a successful outputs agreed with internal and external stakeholders. You will act as Project Engineer for your principle discipline and contribute to enhancing the reputation of Network Rail and the Project Team for delivery of complex multi-disciplinary schemes. There is significant investment agreed in the LNW (North) area to enhance the asset at several critical junctions along the West Coast Mainline Route north of Crewe. This is an opportunity to be part of a project team that will be responsible for the multi-disciplinary development and delivery of these high profile complex schemes, in addition to the development and delivery of a significant multi-disciplinary domestic S&C programme in the North West area. About the role (External) As a Senior Project Engineer you will support the Project Manager in the delivery of a variety of interesting projects in the North West area. To achieve this you will liaise closely with senior managers, internal/external customers and stakeholders, you will lead the engineering function and provide direction to both internal and external consultants during the detailed development of schemes. You will have demonstrable experience of multi-disciplinary rail projects in an engineering/design capacity. You will have detailed knowledge of Railway Group and Line Standards and a working knowledge of the CDM Regulations.
