Job Description
Signalling Construction Manager - Based in Croydon A large rail engineering company are currently recruiting for a signalling construction manager to work within a busy signalling department and work on their projects within an infrastructure environment. Salary The salary on offer is up to £65,000 plus package Role Description The role requires that you • Oversee total construction effort to ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and Network Rail standards. This includes interfacing with the client representative, subcontractors and other contractors • Ensure that all CDM requirements for each project are maintained • Provide accurate reports to projects and the company plan to show progress and achievements • Schedule workload for all the installation activities on all projects with the aid of Installation and capacity planning • Perform risk analysis and develop action plans to mitigate risk • Seek to optimise installation of projects through process improvement • Engage and support the bidding team when developing new bids to the customer • Work with other members of the company to maximize growth within the business. Required Experience For this role it is required that you • Have an IRSE Installation Managers licence • Have a proven track record of delivering projects to budget and on time • Knowledge of railway signalling systems and signalling projects • Are experienced in presenting to clients and senior directors within a company • Have a minimum of 5 years Project / construction leadership
