Alstom Belgium Transport has developed two Centers of Excellence: one for the design and manufacture worldwide auxiliary converters, and the second for the new common standard signals European ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System), designed to increase rail traffic, the average speed of transport and security. The Charleroi site is responsible for the design and integration of signalling and traffic control but also of communication networks and information to passengers. Alstom Belgium Transport also offers clients its expertise in maintenance services and renovation. With nearly 1000 people, Alstom Belgium Transport is the largest rail production site in Belgium.

Testing and Commissioning Technician  (m / f)

Purpose of the Job

You reinforce our team of commissioning (first series); You are a technician with good knowledge in electronic (and/or electricity).

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements
Maximum bachelor in electronics or electricity or equivalent with experience. We are not looking for an engineer

Desired Knowledge / Experience

Being able to write specifications: writing skills required.
Knowledge validation and testing is key asset.

Knowledge of railway signaling is an asset.

Behavioural Skills / Competencies

Teamwork oriented, rigorous, accurate

You are operational in English; other language is an asset (German).
The function is based in Charleroi (Belgium); you are willing to travel around 50% of time.
