Job Description
Job Profile Reporting to Lead Engineer, Track, this post is part of a 4 person track design team delivering part of the track and S&C design for Regional Rail Work Package B. This Work Package is a part of a USD 2.5bN project to enhance rail capacity from the west of Melbourne into Southern Cross station. The challenge for this package is working in a brownfield rail corridor remodelling existing railway infrastructure to provide two additional rail lines into the centre of Melbourne. The work will involve working on Broad Gauge (1600mm), Standard Gauge and Dual Gauge track and S&C. Job Description Track Designer reporting to lead Engineer, Track. This post is part of a team of 4 track designers delivering track design for part of Regional Rail Work package B. Candidate Specification A track designer with 3-5 years experience working on design of track including alignment, S&C design Gauging studies and site surveying. Experience in operating InRail or MX rail is essential. technical qualifications are required. Be able to demonstrate delivering work packages to challenging technical and schedule deadlines.
